Many students would love to experience study in another country, but feel that they simply can’t do to the prohibitive costs associated with such programs. Fortunately for most students looking for international experiences, there are a variety of scholarships out there that can help cover some or all of the costs of taking college courses overseas. This can be especially valuable for students who are majoring in a foreign language or international studies or those who simple want to experience a different culture.

Before students depart for their educations abroad, most will be required to provide proof that they are able to afford the program throughout its entire duration as they likely not be allowed to work while in a foreign country. • Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarships: $11,000 to $24,000 to a varying number of students who are leaders in their communities all over the world.
• Donald Riebhoff Memorial Scholarship: $1,000 awarded to one undergraduate or graduate student majoring in international studies with interest in amateur radio.
