AT Still University of Health Sciences is a recognized university that provides quality graduate-level education and instruction to students who are serious about entering the healthcare industry. Through access to research centers, museums, leading edge technology and respected faculty, students gain a full understanding of the science of whole person healthcare. The AT Still University experiences focus on practical medical and scientific skills, as well as problem-based learning, extracurricular activities and more. The school believes that a well-rounded education that immerses students in career-oriented and social experiences prepares them to be compassionate healthcare leaders who uphold values like integrity.

ATSU is comprised of several different colleges, including the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, which was founded in 1892. Located in Kirksville, MO, the school is recognized by U.S. News and World Report in its “Best Graduate Schools” listing. Other schools in the ATSU community include The Arizona School of Health Sciences, which was established in 1995, The School of Health Management, which offers classes online and was founded in 1999, the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral health, founded in 2003, and the School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona, established in 2006. These schools are located in either Kirksville, MO, or Mesa, AZ, as well as online.

Academically, students are exposed to the philosophy of whole person healthcare. This idea encourages healthcare students and professionals to understand and treat a person’s mind, body and spirit. At AT Still University, students can participate in a wellness program, nutrition classes, and psychology courses to gain experience with the whole person healthcare approach. Additional programs are offered in Athletic Training, Audiology, Biomedical Sciences, Dentistry and Oral Health, Occupational Therapy, Orthodontics, Osteopathic Medicine, Physical Therapy, and Physician Assistant. Online programs range from Advanced Occupational Therapy to Geriatric Health to Public Health to Human Movement.

Students are encouraged to supplement their in-class learning by participating in projects at the AT Still Research Institute, visit and study the Still National Osteopathic Museum, and take advantage of the many student services offered at the Missouri, Arizona and online campuses. These services include financial assistance, counseling, tutoring, and more.
