The elite Cornell University offers quality online education on its virtual campus, eCornell. Classes operate on either a two- of four-week schedule, and some programs can be completed in as little as eight weeks.
Cornell University was founded in 1865 and is both a private and public university. It is a privately endowed university that remains a partner of the State of New York and resides on a federal land grant. Seven undergraduate schools and seven graduate, medical and professional schools in Ithaca, NY, New York, NY, and Qatar make up Cornell University. Corporations can also use eCornell to train employees, and government employees are eligible for tuition discounts.
Students at eCornell remain connected through discussions and coursework with their assigned group cohort and respected faculty member. They also have access to online resources within the Cornell community, including reference services, the library and "Ask the Expert" interviews with Cornell faculty.
