New England College is a liberal arts institution that strives to challenge, inspire and support its students, helping them deepen their own personal relationships and develop the real-world skills they need to tackle a competitive workforce. Students are free to explore themselves academically and socially through different course offerings, campus groups and various community involvements. New England College was founded over 50 years ago in scenic small town of Henniker, MA. Henniker is located approximately 90 miles from Boston and just 20 miles from Concord, giving students access to small town life and urban opportunities. Students at New England College are encouraged to participate in outdoor recreational activities and take advantage of natural resources like the Contoocook River , Pats Peak, and other canoeing, horseback riding, skiing and camping options.

New England College offers students a full range of academic study. Departments include Art History, Environmental Science, Biological Studies, Philosophy, Political Science, Engineering, Biological Studies, Sport and Recreational Management, Women’s Studies, and others. Graduate programs are offered in Management, Poetry, Public Policy, Education, and Mental Health Counseling. The school also allows students to earn two Master’s degrees online: Online Master of Arts in Public Policy and an Online Master of Science in Criminal Justice Leadership.

Additional institutes and museums on campus include the New England College Art Gallery, Danforth Library, Center for Educational Innovation, the Learning Institute and Entelechy International, an annual literary publication that publishes works from new and established writers. These institutions, as well as student clubs and organizations, encourage student involvement and self-exploration, as well as the discovery of new ideas, relationships and goals that impact society.
