Nichols College is located in Dudley, MA, twenty minutes south of Worcester and one hour from Boston. The school was founded in 1815 as Nichols Academy, but it closed in 1909. In 1913, James Lawson Conrad organized Nichols Junior College, the first junior college in the state to be eligible to award an Associate’s degree in Business Administration. By 1958, Nichols had built and purchased more buildings, and became a four-year college. In 1965, Nichols was accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Over the years, Nichols College has added undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as new dining halls, stadiums and other buildings. Despite its growth, class sizes still remain small, and the Nichols learning environment is completely student-focused.

Traditional students can take classes on campus or online. Degree programs include Business, Economics, English, History, Mathematics and Psychology, plus an educator preparation program and a study abroad opportunity in London and an internship program in Washington, D.C.

Adult learners at Nichols College benefit from business-based academic programs designed to teach relevant skills. Undergraduate programs are available in Accounting, Criminal Justice Management, and General Business, and graduate students can pursue a traditional MBA, or MBAs with concentrations in Sport or Security Management. Nichols also offers a Master of Organizational Leadership degree and a Certificate in Business Administration. Classes can be taken on campus or online.
